- September 17 & 24 - BRAZORIA’S GOT TALENT - Auditions are September 17. Top 10 winning acts will come back to audition before the Judges that night and 3 acts will be selected to perform on September 24, 2011 at 7 p.m. at the Brazoria Civic Center Theater. Linda Bell, Gospel Singer will perform at 8 p.m. This night will also promote Linda Bell’s new C/D. For more information, please call Judi Downing at 979-864-7327
- October 26 - 29 - OUTDOOR SCARECROW DECORATING CONTEST – Open to all Brazoria citizens in city limits of Brazoria. Judging outdoor yard decorations for fall with emphasis on SCARECROWS. Deadline to submit application is Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Judging will be October 28, 2011 from 3 to 6 pm.
Winners receive 1st place - $100; 2nd Place $50.00; and 3rd Place is $25.00 Gift certificates to Stewart’s Grocery. Winners will be presented at the Kids Halloween Contest on October 29, 2011 following the movie - October 29 - HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST & MOVIE - Bring the kids in costume and see a Halloween movie at 2 p.m. The Contest follows the movie at 4 p.m. All entries will receive a Halloween treat. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in 3 age categories.
- November 11 - VETERAN'S DAY PROGRAM & PARADE
- December 3 - CHRISTMAS IN BRAZORIA - The Brazoria Chamber of Commerce will have a huge Christmas celebration featuring a visit from Santa Claus and snow, food, gifts and crafts, Music at the Brazoria Civic Center. Also the Brazoria Lions Club will have their annual Gun Raffle drawing.
